I would have liked also to make her try Xubuntu but gtk2 dependencies on the LTS made change my mind. No fixes? No install.

I tried also #Mate in Ubuntu Mate but it was not as sexy apparently. Also my girlfriend use #GNOME so she can give her some support if she needs.
